I little bit of a digression from the Tai Ji, but definitely a nice cool down. Any one who is familiar with the five elements- Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water should know the Inner Smile, which really is a nice simple exercise. These elements, are part of the Wu xing. A circle of change that expresses and micro-macro reflection of the body and one’s environment. Each of the elements generates another and also hinders another. Each of the elements also have body organ correspondents. The Wood element corresponds to the Liver, Fire to the Heart, Earth to the Spleen, Metal to the Lungs, and Water to the Kidneys. Like the elements generate each and deny each other, so do the organs. The Inner Smile is an simple exercise that helps establish a harmony between the elements within the organ system of your body. This exercise fully developed by Mantak Chia and others, gives one a sense of peace and joy in a very quick easy way. One simply breathes in and smiles to each of one’s inner parts and waits for them to smile back. True happiness.
it’s good
the cosmic healing sounds work well too. all these excercises are so simple, it takes about 10-15 mins for me and they’ve changed many negative things like being too tired, sleepyness, overeating and generally unable to concentrate. Thank you Mantak Chia!
